Thank you for not repeating the claim that these characters are the smartest horror characters ever, and they do everything right. After they discover how The Thing works, they constantly SPLIT INTO GROUPS OF TWO and run off. How does everyone not see that that is the dumbest thing you could do?!

There's something about bloody, monstrous animatronix that made it so alien that it felt creepy. I miss those effects. CGI just feels so lackluster comparatively
