People are saying he couldve stepped back which is true, but he had already spent every single ounce of his adrenaline contorting, anticipating, jumping, and dodging the first few unpredictable lasers. By the time that final, grid appeared, his nervous system was completely tapped out.

На самом деле этого не должно было быть в фильме. Но когда актёра разрезала лазерная решётка, то режиссёру это так понравилось, что он оставил это в фильме.
