The deregulation of broadcast media and the emergence of 24-7 CNN news set the stage to make news a profit center rather than a public service.

A constitutional amendment would take years. A simpler solution would be to double the House of Representatives and double the Supreme Court. These are ordinary laws. It would have the same effect and you can get the Constitutional Amendment through.

GET THE GOD DAMNED MONEY OUT OF POLITICS. OUTLAW PAID POLITICAL ADVERTISING. WE HAVE THE INTERNET NOW WHERE CANDIDATES CAN POST THEIR QUALIFICATIONS TO EVERYONE, EQUALLY, AND FOR FREE.
