I think Hal confronts Noah about Zoe angering Noah into breaking Hal's nose. Confirming his suspicion about Noah being the new manhunter. (Like, that kid hits way too hard) Then, Kerry ends up shooting clone hal to protect her son.

Here is my big brained idea:
Hal was already dead al along....in 2016. The reason he didn't backup his mind in the ring for those 10 years is because he wasn't the real hal and the skull fragment we saw in the trailer was hal's skull al along

If the clone Hal Jordan is true and the real Hal Jordan is still alive to become parallax then I guess the real Hal Jordan shot his clone to send them on a wild goose chase.
