So, the name of the key figure from the video description is Thjazi Fang. My guess is that Liam's character is his son, since his name is Halandil "Hal" Fang.

It seems likely that Thjazi Fang is named after the jotunn (giant) Thjazi/Þjazi from Norse mythology. He's known for taking the form of a giant eagle. So there's a mythological bird of prey connection between Thjazi and the Falcon's Rebellion mentioned, too!
