I actually did this with a 5 gallon bucket to the return hose. Once I seen antifreeze come through after the flush was fully gone I killed the engine and refilled accordingly. Quite simple

Full operating temp, unadulterated antifreeze(water is for pussies), everything checks out. They caused thermal expansion by doing this before which is why the fluid is low again. Antifreeze is what it says, it does also raise the boiling point, but it mostly is a lubricant and to prevent freezing,…

Having for the entirety of my life been an effeminate gay boy who has never done more than change my battery and tires on my own immediately knew that this was in fact NOT the proper way to refill a cooling system. This is, to borrow parlance from AAVE, RATCHET.
